Yeldersley Old Hall Farm and Cottages offer first class accommodation for the tourist and business visitor alike. Stay in one of our three self-catering cottages, or enjoy bed and breakfast in our Grade II Listed 17th century farmhouse. Yeldersley Old Hall Farm and Cottages are listed as buildings of historical interest.
The Farm and Cottages are situated in the quiet and peaceful countryside, just outside the village of Bradley and three miles from the market town of Ashbourne.
There is a large lawn, suitable for playing games, enjoying picnics, outside the cottages with patio furniture provided. There is also ample safe car parking.
Information about the area is available in all our accommodation and we can provide advice on places to visit and where to eat and drink.
All accommodation is Visit Britain inspected and graded.
Yeldersley Old Hall Farm has a Visit Britain Farmhouse grade of 4 stars and also has a silver award. Primrose cottage has a Visit Britain grade of 4 stars. Bluebell and Briar cottages have a Visit Britain grade of 3 stars.
Spring and Winter short breaks are available in our Self Catering Cottages as well as short term accommodation for the business visitor and regardless of weather a warm welcome is guaranteed!

History
Yeldersley Old Hall Farm is a working dairy farm with pedigree Holstein/Friesian cows and calves. It has 230 acres of land and the land has been farmed by our family since 1954.
Yeldersley Old Hall is situated in peaceful surroundings on the outskirts of Bradley village some three miles from the market town of Ashbourne. Built in the early 17th Century the farmhouse and cottages are now Grade II Listed.
History suggests that Catherine Pegge, probably the first of King Charles II's mistresses once lived at Yeldersley Old Hall. In 1657 Catherine bore Charles a son and the child was named Charles FitzCharles. Fitz is the traditional prefix to a child born to a royal father out of wedlock. The following year a daughter was born and christened Catherine, after her mother.
Situated in pleasant, rural peaceful surroundings this is a welcoming place to relax and explore the wonders and history of Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Farm House Accommodation
We welcome you to share our Grade II Listed 17th century Farmhouse where our family have lived since 1954.
All our guest rooms have central heating and our en-suite bedrooms are spacious and decorated in traditional rural style. Our accommodation has been inspected by Visit Britain and awarded 4 stars with a gold award.
The cost of your stay includes breakfast served at separate tables in our oak beamed dining room. We serve a delicious farmhouse breakfast, using local produce wherever possible, or one to your own choice.
We do ask guests not to smoke in our farmhouse.
Ironing facilities are available if required.
Evening meals are available locally in the surrounding villages in restaurants or bar meals in local pubs.

The Cottages - Self Catering Accommodation
Three lovely self-catering cottages have been created from our traditional 17th century Grade II Listed barn. They have beamed ceilings, are comfortably furnished and well equipped.
Each cottage has three bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 5 and 6 people depending on the cottage. Ample safe car parking with garden space for recreation and picnics. Patio furniture is provided.
We provide information on local attractions and walks, together with details of local places to eat – restaurants, bar meals and local takeaways just in case you do not wish to cook!
Bed linen is provided in all cottages but we do ask that you bring your own towels.
All our cottages are heated with a heatwise system – they are heated using economy price electricity during the night, afternoon and evening.
Laundry facilities are available at the farmhouse at a small charge and there are outside drying facilities for all the cottages. Briar cottage has its own washing machine.
We are sorry that we cannot welcome pets.
