SUNDAY APRIL 2nd 2017 , starting at 10.30am Spring Stride in Aid of Mind
Join us for a 4.5 or 8.5 mile walk around stunning Carsington Water in the Derbyshire countryside.
Starting at Stainsborough Hall, during the walk you’ll enjoy outstanding scenery and beautiful spring flowers. Also a craft Fair at Stainsborough Hall.

It is £5 to participate and all proceeds go to Derbyshire Mind. (Children under the age of 16 are free as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Dogs welcome but please keep them on a lead)

Alfreton & District Heritage Trust present a talk by Cliff Lea on Derbyshire's Oil Wells, from early findings in the 1700s, Riddings in 1847, Tibshelf in 1919 and the local site of Britain's first fracking in 1922.
Further information: Derbyshire is the most important area in Britain in terms of the history of discovery of oil. It has the location of Britain's first successful deep oil well in Hardstoft near Tibshelf. Lady Manners School Parents Association Car Boot Sales 2017

Have a great day selling or buying and help raise money for our school. All entry fees and profits from refreshments benefit the school.
Gates open at 7.00am for ‘Car Booters’ and close at 1pm. No commercial traders or food sales please.Entry fee is just £7.00 per car.

Free entry to members of the public. Excellent refreshments available from 7.30am. Come along and try our well-priced, delicious, locally reared bacon cobs, homemade cakes and a range of soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the school grounds.
