There are six sports centres in the city that offer a full range of activities for every age and ability. Each centre has a gym that offers a range of single station cardiovascular and resistance equipment. The workout programmes offer a variety of classes suitable for different levels.
For outdoor activities Markeaton Park has tennis courts, netball, basketball, and an 18 hole pitch and putt course.
Derby also boasts two golf courses at Sinfin and Allestree and a variety of scenic riverside walks and cycle routes.
